Engage your new hires from the start, make them feel that they are joining a great team. Take time to introduce them to the business by having a special sign, welcome messages or a lunch. Plan ahead, establish who will be responsible for the delivery of the induction for the employee. Make the induction program comprehensive and structured. It is your (the employer’s) interest covering all the topics needed them to know. Show off what makes your company great, tell employees that they really do matter to your business. Involve those individuals who accurately represent all the positives you have to offer. Be authentic, don’t exeggerate the positives. The newbies will figure out in no time if you lie.
