Deviating from procedure
When your people aren’t following a procedure, dig in and find out the why. Be flexible to make changes to things that really aren’t working the way they were intended. Have a culture of continuous improvement where people feel safe to bring issues and solutions forward can help you out here. Involve your team in the creation of any new processes right from the outset. Train your people properly and include them all in any communication about the processes. Don’t let any employees deviating from standard procedure to cut corners for the easy way out. Don’t tolerate bending ethics for the illusion of momentary success.
