Speaking up or keeping silent
Keep in mind that staying silent is not a neutral act. It is to give your tacit approval to what is happening to you or around you. Use questions to raise issues in a sensitive way. Make sure you’re in a location that’s conducive to a serious conversation and the individual you’re querying has time and attention for you. Ask if you can put some questions. Ask open-ended questions in a super-polite wording. Cut out emotions. You'd better to know what your boss thinks before you speak up.
