Talking to the boss
Be deliberately excellent at your job. Prove there is a good reason you were hired. Make sure that you, your opinions and ideas are an asset. Don’t be afraid of the boss, be blunt and open about what it is you require to get the job done. Your boss is there (theoretically) to support you through your period of employment with the company. Show him that you are an employee who uses initiative and is not afraid to raise issues as they present themselves. Practice confidence until you actually believe it and can speak convincingly.
