Being put on disciplinary probation
Ask your employer (boss) these questions: Did the employer let you know that the behavior could result in disciplinary action? Was the rule or order reasonable, safe, and related to the Company needs? Prior to administering the disciplinary action, did the company, make an effort to discover whether you did violate the rule or order? Did your supervisor conduct a thorough investigation of the facts and circumstances, including your explanation, prior to administering disciplinary action? Is there substantial proof for the case? Have the rules, orders, and penalties been consistently enforced? Was the disciplinary action related to the seriousness of the offense, to your record, and to your level of responsibility within the Company?
