Losing trust of the Board

Keep cool whether and when the Board has lost trust in you. Communicate very calmly and clearly. Tell them what you think and what you are experiencing, but don’t be negative. Ask ’how’, instead of ’why’ for the only answer tends to be ‘because’. Keep things real and in perspective. Make it clear who you are working to benefit, speak from the shareholders’ point of view. Direct their attention to things they still have trust you in (if there is any). Remind them openly of times that you delivered. Say what you have to say, but no more. Fight for the best severance package possible in case.
