Clashing over resources
Control your emotions. Keeping your composure means you can destroy your adversary faster. Communicate assertively what you want. Make no threats, do not pressure and blame. Apply active listening, understand not only the interests but the emotions of your opponent. Pay attention to the non-verbal messages. Be present. Use adequate humor to defuse the aggression of others and help getting observers on your side. Send a message of strength by displaying a sense of self-directed irony in heated situations. Aim at solving the conflict instead of winning or proving you are right. Forgive and move on. Don't waste your life on battling continuously and taking revenge even for the tiniest grievances.
