Filing a grievance
Think twice before filing a grievance. There is no bigger stress and higher danger than being involved in an investigation procedure. Be prepared for a blame game. Show unconditional cooperation with the auditors. Submit any and all the evidences required, but not more. Make copy each items for yourself and hand them over only after having received a signed list (receipt). Don’t yield under pressure. Stick to the proven facts. Ask for written report on the findings, conclusions. Question any assumptions concerning you. Don’t assume that the auditors are professional and acting in good faith. Resolve the issue yourself.
